Guidelines for Presenting Authors
Presenting authors are required to upload their presentations for oral and flash communications on the computer provided by the Organizing Committee before 9.00 (morning) or 14.00 (afternoon) on the scheduled day of the communication. Presentations should be prepared as Powerpoint (*.pptx) or PDF files.
In the case you need to use your own laptop computer, please note that a VGA socket is required for connection to the projector. For other special needs, please contact the Organizing Secretariat in advance.
The time assigned to presenting authors is 20 minutes for oral communications (15 min presentation + 5 min discussion) and 13 minutes for flash communications (10 min presentation + 3 min discussion).
Poster sessions are scheduled on Thursday, September 21 and Friday, September 22. Presenting authors are required to print their own posters, display them on the dedicated boards, and remove them at the end of the Conference. Posters must be set up before 9.00 on September 21 and removed by 11.00 on September 23. Pins and technical equipment for displaying posters will be provided by the Organizing Committee on site.
The poster size must be 70×100 cm in portrait-oriented layout to fit on the display boards. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstracts. Posters should be clear and easy to read. The text, illustrations, etc., should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters.
Poster numbers, designating the position of the dedicated board, will be assigned to each accepted poster and notified to the presenting author in advance. Presenting authors are required to be present during poster sessions in order to allow discussion of presented results with participants.
